 Active ingredient: calcium gluconate (500 mg per tablet).
 Excipients: potato starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, calcium stearate.
 Form of Release
 Tablets.
 Properties
 White or slightly yellowish flat cylindrical tablets with a beveled edge and a scored line.
 Indications for Use
 Prescribed for low blood calcium levels, disruption of cell membrane permeability, and impaired nerve impulse transmission in muscles. Recommended for hypoparathyroidism, vitamin D deficiency, hyperphosphatemia in cases of chronic renal failure, and increased calcium requirements (growth in children and adolescents, pregnancy, lactation). Also indicated for inadequate calcium intake, post-menopausal metabolic disorders, fractures, prolonged bed rest, diarrhea, or prolonged use of diuretics and certain OTC products.
 The product may also be used for various types of bleeding, allergic reactions, bronchial asthma, edema, tuberculosis, liver damage, nephritis, and as an antidote for poisoning with magnesium salts, oxalic acid, and hydrofluoric acid.
 Dosage and Administration
 The tablet should be chewed or crushed before use. Take before meals. The daily dose for elderly patients should not exceed 2 g (4 tablets). The duration of the course is determined by the physician depending on the patient’s health condition.
 Contraindications
 Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, hypercalcemia, thrombosis tendency, pronounced hypercalciuria, increased blood clotting, atherosclerosis, calcium stones, severe kidney diseases, sarcoidosis, or concurrent use of digitalis OTC products.
