Active substance: propolis tincture (propolisi tinctura); 1 vial contains propolis tincture (propolisi tinctura) (1:10) (extractant – ethanol 80% (v/v)) – 25 ml

Main physicochemical properties

Transparent liquid from yellowish-brown to reddish-brown color with the characteristic smell of propolis. Sediment formation is possible during storage.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Agents for the treatment of wounds and ulcerative lesions. Preparations that promote wound healing.

Pharmacological properties Pharmacodynamics. Propolis (bee glue) is a product of bee activity containing a number of biogenic substances: essential oils, resin mixture, wax, flavonoids, flavones, derivatives of cinnamic acid. Exhibits antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity, accelerates tissue regeneration (repair of damaged tissues).

Indications for use Microtraumas and superficial skin and mucous membrane injuries, otitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, periodontitis.

Contraindications Hypersensitivity to propolis or individual intolerance, especially in persons with liver or kidney diseases, eczema, allergic reactions (especially to beekeeping products), bleeding from damaged areas of skin and mucous membranes.
